Get to know Barbara

Hi! Once again thanks for stopping by and getting to know  a little about who I am and my Metaphysical path.  I appreciate your interest. Where do I begin? Well let's start with my belief in a higher power at a very young age.

Below is a brief overview of my life to give you a glimpse of where I have been and what has brought me to the spiritual path I have chosen to live by.

September 18, 1944  Born and raised in Miami, Florida

In 1964 I graduated Fairleigh Dickinson University's School of Dental Hygiene in Teaneck, New Jersey .First time I saw snow!!

Practiced  Dental Hygiene for the past 35 years in 4 different states Florida, Georgia, New Jersey and California. 

1968 Married  and lived in Atlanta , Georgia

1971 Gave birth to a magnificent daughter named Jodi Beth whom I am very proud as she is a beautiful person inside and out.

1975 Gave birth to a precious gem named Stacy Lynn who has become my spirit guide since 1979 when she passed over. She  is working  with me from  another dimension right now. (My true awareness of my spiritual path)

1979  Divorced in Miami, Florida

1980  Real Estate Sales and a Broker 's license in Miami, Florida.

1984 Went to a psychic, Iris Saltzman in Miami, Florida  who was mentioned in Brian Weiss book "Many Lives Many Masters" and suggested my growth would occur in California

1986 Moved 3500 miles cross country to San Francisco  and obtained a California Real Estate License and Dental Hygiene Lic.

1990 Studied Hypnotherapy at the Hypnosis Clearing House  in Lafayette, CA. Started incorporating Hypnosis into Dentistry

1993  Received 3 levels of Reiki attunements and became a Reiki Master

1993 Lectured at New York University's School of Dentistry on "Uses of  Hypnosis in Dentistry" Also spoke in Anaheim, CA at the state Dental Meeting on "Treating the Fearful Patient"

1993 Opened an Independent Dental Hygiene Practice in San Rafael, CA under a state Pilot program. I incorporated Hypnotherapy for fear and pain control, Reiki for healing and Cranial Sacral for TMJ Dysfunction.

1993-1999- Practice Independent Dental Hygiene at the Marin Convalescent Home in Tiburon, CA for the homebound.

1994 Studied Cranial Sacral Therapy at the Up ledger Institute

1995 Spoke at the Whole Life Expo in San Francisco and San Jose on "Hypnosis in Dentistry" and " Don't Plead the Fifth-Heal it"

1995 Studied  and an ongoing student of Astrology

1995 My best friend and business partner was murdered in San Diego which catapulted me into a deeper awareness of my spirituality.

1996 Introduction course in Energy Healing with Barbara Ann Brennan in San Francisco -author of "Hands of Light"

1996-99 Graduated a 3 year program at the School of Enlightenment and Healing in San Diego  learning Subtle Energy Healing under Dr. Michael Mamas.

1997 Intern for the Human Awareness Institute in San Mateo, CA

1998 Meditation retreats at Mt. Madonna in Santa Cruz

1998 Visited Sathya Sai Baba In Puttaparti, India

1997  Distributor for Young Living Essential Oils-used in my Dental Hygiene practice . I am currently using essential oils in a Healing session called Raindrop Technique which  may support many dis-eases such as scoliosis, aids, cancer and back pain.

1999 Sold my Dental Hygiene practice in San Rafael, CA and moved to Venice ,Ca to be closer to my daughter, Jodi Beth

2001 - Member of Agape, Sai Baba and Kabballah Communities

2006 - Completed a semi-autobiographical paranormal screenplay.
